Armed with a vibrant personality and a mission to make the lives of others less difficult, Tamara stands as a seasoned chief executive with over 25 years of combined experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. Her passion lies in enhancing performance within dynamic environments, leaving a lasting mark wherever she goes.


Having led teams exceeding 300 individuals, Tamara has cultivated effective relationships with customers, donors, consumers, executive teams, boards of directors, technical staff, laborers, and external vendors. Hailing from a union-made, middle-class background in Saint Joseph, Missouri, Tamara embodies a robust work ethic grounded in the service of others.


Tamara pursued her education at Missouri Western State University, focusing on Political Science and International Governments. She holds certifications as a Leadership Development Facilitator and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management. She is a graduate of Class XXXVI of Leadership 2000.


Beyond her professional achievements, Tamara finds fulfillment in her role as a mother to Zach and Savannah, as well as a caregiver to her beloved dog Honey Bun and cat Todd Soxx. She is also a passionate member of the Church of the Resurrection, a United Methodist Church. Tamara is a member of the Board of Directors for Leadership 2000.
